Loftiest Americans: Who Is Your #1 American

The American Eagle

Loftiest AmericansThis question asks you to vote for the Greatest American of the Last 30 years.

In asking that question, it is logical to ask ourselves and others, what areas of our existence, help us arrive at such an opinion.

When we look at presidents, it seems as though Abraham Lincoln gets the most support as the greatest president in U.S. history, then again George Washington also receives strong support.

In the 20th century Presidents Ronald Reagan, Franklin Roosevelt and Theodore Roosevelt have all received high ratings.

During the last 30 years, the personal computer has drastically changed communications, so that mass communication has given us many outlets to be heard and to hear others and to talk with one another, so that the national microphone is not dominated by presidents as it was in the last century.

With all those factors in mind, I've tried to take the recent and highly significant societal changes into consideration.

As you can see the choices include 4 presidents, 1 vice-president, 3 Radio and/or TV giants, an economist whose economics have changed the world and who was asked to do an 8 part series on economics by PBS in the 1980's and did just that.

Finally, a man who we could say changed the world in a different way, leading to the hundreds of millions who now own and operate computers and related technologies and related areas.
