Democratic Voter Fraud
Insist On Photo ID-No Excuses
July 22, 2008Investor's Business Daily Bank Mess Started With Gov't Intervention By THOMAS SOWELL Monday, July 21 2008 4:30 PM PT Full article IBD Excerpts: In one of those front-page editorials disguised as "news" stories, the New York Times blames "the lucrative lending practices" of banks and other financial institutions for helping create the current financial crisis of millions of borrowers and of the financial system in general. It must take either a willful determination to believe whatever they want to believe or a cynical desire to propagandize their readers for the New York Times to call "lucrative" the lending practices that have caused many lenders to lose millions of dollars, some to lose billions and some to go bankrupt themselves. Blaming the lenders is the party line of congressional Democrats as well. What we need is more government regulation of lenders, they say, to protect the innocent borrowers from "predatory" lending practices. June 27, 2008NEW YORK POST COURAGE AT COLUMBIA Last updated: 3:23 am June 26, 2008 Full article New York Post Excerpts: Will wonders never cease? Columbia Teachers College has summoned the moral courage to fire plagiarizing professor Madonna Constantine. Columbia announced the dismissal in a letter to faculty, noting that the professor of education and philosophy had plagiarized papers of at least one colleague and two of her own students. Constantine, who's black, first made the news last October after someone attached a noose to her office door. Whether that incident is in any way connected to the plagiarism probe is unclear. May 20, 2008Medicaid FraudWALL STREET JOURNAL Medicaid Money Laundering May 19, 2008; Page A14 Full article WSJ Excerpts: Every politician moans that entitlement spending is out of control, so it ought to be easy at least to stop blatant fraud and abuse. Evidently not: Congress is currently resisting an attempt to rein in even a Big Con that everyone acknowledges. The scene of this crime is Medicaid, the open-ended program that provides health coverage for about 59 million low-income people, with the rolls expanding every year. States determine eligibility and what services to cover, and the feds pick up at least half the tab, though the effective "matching rate" is as high as 83%. Now it turns out that states have been goosing their financing arrangements to maximize their federal payouts and dump more of their costs onto taxpayers nationwide. The swindle works like this: A state overpays state-run health-care providers, such as county hospitals or nursing homes, for Medicaid benefits far in excess of its typical rates. Then the federal government reimburses the state for "half" of the inflated bills. Once the state bags the extra matching funds, the hospital is required to rebate the extra money it received at the scam's outset. Cash thus makes a round trip from states to providers and back to the states – all to dupe Washington. May 13, 2008The New York Sun Pelosi's Pickle New York Sun Editorial May 9, 2008 Full article The New York Sun Excerpts: Aaah, to see the engineer hoist by her own petard. What else to make of the situation in which the speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, is now being accused, by two election lawyers interviewed by our Josh Gerstein, of violating the McCain-Feingold campaign speech restriction legislation that she championed as a congresswoman? At issue is a television ad aired in Ms. Pelosi's district by a non-profit founded by Vice President Gore. The commercial features her appearing with Newt Gingrich to warn about the danger of global warming. The McCain-Feingold law bans ads featuring political candidates in the 30 days before an election unless the ads meet certain requirements, such as having the donors disclosed. A Republican election lawyer, Jan Baran, told The New York Sun that to avoid penalties, Ms. Pelosi may find herself arguing against the law she voted for. "The only defense has got to be that it's unconstitutional," Mr. Baran said. If Ms. Pelosi makes that argument, she'll have our full support and no doubt that of many Americans from all sides of the political spectrum — from the American Civil Liberties Union to the National Rifle Association — who predicted when McCain-Feingold was passed that it would stunt free expression and ensnare even those with no corrupt purpose. Judges and every day Democrats lead the way for Democratic Voter Fraud to continue to flourish. Democrats are cheaters. Democrats love cheating at the polls. Democratic leaning judges misuse their power as judges, to enable Democratic cheating. Democrat talking heads and other spinmeisters, along with unions and other Democrat groups with expertise in cheating, battle legitimate identification measures in the courts, so that come election day, Democrats can continue doing what they’ve done with total consistency, throughout the country’s entire history, i.e. cheat at the polls. Judges for their part, come up with phony, moronic reasons to bypass legitimate identification requirements, because they flat out want Democrats to win at all costs, including winning by cheating. Democrats exist, thinking they are morally superior to we Americans who do not recognize what they think is: the superiority of redistribution of income, big government central planning, disdain for corporate profit and keeping as many as possible, dependent on government largesse. With all the excuse making Democrats engage in does anyone actually believe that they want Democratic Voter Fraud to end, that they want even 1 vote stopped. Of course not. Practically all vote fraud is and always has been from Democrats. Superstar Of Cheating Has EmergedThe Group Acorn is becoming a superstar of cheating and vote fraud, naturally that's Democratic Voter Fraud. What is Acorn? A national left wing group that gets a substantial part of its money from organized labor. The Kansas City Star and St. Louis Post Dispatch reported that Acorn submitted thousands of fraudulent voter registrations. The Star further reported that Acorn’s latest registration drive generated 35,000 applications "but thousands of them appear to be duplicates or contain dubious data." The report further stated "[n]ear the top of the fishy list would be a man named Mark who apparently registered seven times over a three-day period using his mother's home address and phone number." Mom told the paper he hadn't lived there in six years Investors Business Daily reports that “Acorn and its affiliates have been among the most active and vocal opponents of voter ID laws in Missouri and nationwide. Now we know why. Judges Missouri residents need photo ID to cash a check, board a plane or apply for food stamps. The Missouri Supreme Court however, has ruled that a photo ID requirement to vote is too great a burden on the elderly and the poor. A huge majority of Americans, including age, race, etc., favor voter ID and almost half the states have such requirements. Several court decisions however have blocked this common sense action. Glib Democrats and glib judges throw out phony boohoo arguments about the burden on the elderly and the poor. They also spin yarns about poll taxes, Jim Crow and other nonsense which cloaks their desire to allow illegal Democratic votes. They simply want the cheating to continue, pure and simple. The Ninth Circuit, a bunch of activist judges have been reversed by the U.S. Supremes too many times to count. Luckily, they were reversed again in Arizona-October 19th. Now, Arizona residents will have to show photo ID this November 7th. Hopefully no Democratic Voter Fraud there. Isn’t it Interesting that with all the elections Democrats have stolen over the years, when they lose, they’re the first to cry foul over voting irregularities. Democratic Voter Fraud To Editorials
